縮毛矯正は髪をまっすぐにしてくれる施術ですが、生えてくる髪まで直毛にしてくれるわけではありません。
綺麗なストレートヘアを保つためには、定期的に美容室へ通う必要があります。
では、縮毛矯正は何ヶ月持つものなのでしょうか？
何ヶ月に1回縮毛矯正をかければ、綺麗なストレートヘアを保てるのか疑問に感じる人も多いです。

縮毛矯正をかけなおすタイミングについて解説します。
縮毛矯正は何ヶ月おきにかけなおすものなの？
縮毛矯正はかけた部分の髪は半永久的にまっすぐなのですが、新しく生えてきた部分はくせ毛のままです。
そのため、定期的にかけなおす必要があります。
しかし、髪へのダメージが大きく美容室メニューの中でも値段が高いため頻繁にかけなおすのは難しいです。
クセの強さにもよりますが、3ヶ月から6ヶ月に一回かけなおすと綺麗に保ちやすくなります。
タイミング的には、湿気が多くなる梅雨前がおすすめです。
3ヶ月おきなら、梅雨直前の6月を起点に9月、12月、3月にかけなおすことになります。
6ヶ月おきなら、6月と12月にかけなおすのがおすすめです。
定期的にかけるときは何ヶ月毎か決めておくと忘れにくくておすすめ！
縮毛矯正をかけなおすタイミングは上記で説明したように、3ヶ月から6ヶ月おきがおすすめなのです。
このように、何ヶ月毎にかけなおすかを決めておくと定期的にかけなおす場合に忘れにくくなります。
ただし、縮毛矯正は髪に大きな負担をかける施術です。
定期的にかけなおす必要はありますが、最終的には髪の状態と相談しながら美容室に行く時期を決めましょう。
何ヶ月ごとにかけなおすのかは髪が伸びるペースや髪型でも変わる！
髪型によって縮毛矯正をかけるスパンが変わるのか、前髪だけなら何ヶ月に1回かけるのかおすすめなのかなどを説明します。
メンズに多いショートはかけなおすスパンが短い？
髪が伸びるペースが速い場合、縮毛矯正をかけなおすスパンが短くなることはあります。
しかし、髪の長さによって髪が伸びるペースが変わることはありません。
ロングでもショートでも1ヶ月に伸びる髪の長さは同じですが、見た目の違いはあります。
ショートの場合、くせ毛が伸びてくるとロングよりも目立ちます。
そのため、3、4ヶ月に1回かけなおすと綺麗なヘアスタイルを保ちやすくなるのでおすすめです。
くせが目立ってきても、3ヶ月よりも短い期間でかけなおすと髪が傷むことが多いのでスタイリングを工夫するなどして過ごしましょう。
ロングヘアの場合はショートよりも伸びてきても目立たないため、6ヶ月おきくらいのペースでかけなおすのがおすすめです。
それよりも短い期間で全体にかけなおすと、縮毛矯正をかけた部分がショートよりも多いので髪へのダメージが大きくなります。
枝毛や切れ毛、ビビリ毛などが起こりやすくなるため、半年よりも短い期間でかけなおすのはあまりおすすめできません。
前髪だけの時は何ヶ月に1回がおすすめ？
前髪だけ縮毛矯正をかけている場合や、ロングヘアで前髪だけクセが目立って気になる場合はショートと同じように3ヶ月に1回かけなおしましょう。
前髪は他の部分の髪よりも細くてダメージが蓄積しやすい箇所です。
頻繁にかけなおしていると、ダメージが表に出て来て仕上がりが悪くなることもあります。
前髪だけのかけなおしでも、1ヶ月おきなど頻繁にするのはおすすめできません。
全体にかけなおすのではなくリタッチもおすすめ！
毎回髪全体に縮毛矯正をかけなおしていると、髪にとても負担がかかってしまいます。
髪へのダメージは蓄積されていくため、かけなおし続けていると髪がどんどん傷んでビビリ毛などになる可能性も高いです。
縮毛矯正をかけなおす場合、全体にではなく伸びてきた部分にだけかけるリタッチなら髪への負担を減らせるのでおすすめです。
リタッチは髪へのダメージを最小限に抑えられるのですが、店舗によってはやっていないところもあるので事前に調べておきましょう。
また、リタッチでも数ミリ程度は髪に薬剤がつく部分が出てしまいます。
そのため、頻繁にリタッチしていると薬剤が前回部分と重なって付着して髪が傷む部分が増えてしまうのであまりおすすめできません。
リタッチで縮毛矯正をかけなおす場合でも、3ヶ月から6ヶ月は間隔を空けるのがおすすめです。
根元折れなど失敗した時も何ヶ月か待ってからかけ直すこと！
縮毛矯正に失敗した際のかけ直しについて説明します。
失敗した際にかけなおす時は何ヶ月か開けた方が良い？
縮毛矯正は他の美容室のメニューと比べて高い技術が必要なため、失敗する確率も高いです。
大抵の場合は成功するのですが、もし失敗した場合はすぐにかけなおすと髪に大きなダメージを与えてしまうのでやめましょう。
ビビリ毛や枝毛、切れ毛になった場合は傷んだ部分をカットするのが一番少ない負担での対応になります。
その後、縮毛矯正を再びかけたい場合は髪の調子を見ながら3ヶ月から6か月くらい待ってからにしましょう。
ブリーチやヘアカラーは何か月後にできるの？
基本的に縮毛矯正した髪に重ねてブリーチするのはおすすめできません。
ヘアカラーなら2週間くらい空けてから施術を受けるのが安心です。
縮毛矯正とヘアカラーをする場合は、先に縮毛矯正をするようにしましょう。
ヘアカラーを先にしてしまうと、縮毛矯正した際に色味が落ちてしまって髪色が暗くなります。
縮毛矯正とヘアカラーをする際は順番にも気を付けましょう。
縮毛矯正をかけなおすまでの期間はヘアケアが大切！
縮毛矯正後、かけなおすまでの期間はヘアケアが大切になります。
リタッチや全体のかけなおしどちらの場合でも、髪へのダメージは避けられないため少しでも髪の状態を良くしておくことが綺麗な仕上がりに繋がります。
また、失敗した後にかけ直したい時は特にヘアケアが大切です。
髪や頭皮に優しいシャンプーやダメージ補修・保湿ができるトリートメントなどを使用してホームケアをきちんとしておきましょう。
ホームケアをする場合は、アウトバストリートメントを使用するのがおすすめです。
ドライヤーや外出前に使用すれば、熱ダメージや紫外線ダメージを防いでくれる効果があります。
縮毛矯正は半永久的！何ヶ月でとれるか考えなくても大丈夫です
縮毛矯正は基本的に一度かければ、半永久的にストレートヘアになる施術です。
パーマのように効果がなくなっていくわけではないので、何ヶ月でとれるのか心配する必要はありません。
ただし、新しく生えてきた縮毛矯正をかけていない部分の髪はまっすぐではありません。
そのため、生えてきた部分のうねりが気になってきたらかけなおす必要があります。
また、半永久的にまっすぐにする強力な施術のため、その分髪へのダメージは大きいです。
綺麗なストレートヘアを保つために、ヘアケアにも力を入れましょう。
